Artist Table:
Clay with Poojitha
An intimate clay workshop inviting participants into a meditative act of shaping—moving between observing and experiencing, where touch, form, and inner awareness quietly unfold.
About the Program
Led by Poojitha, this session is a simple, tactile clay workshop centred on play, touch, and presence. Participants are invited to sit, shape, and engage with clay freely—no prior experience needed. Through clay, participants move between these states: feeling, forming, and reflecting.
For Poojitha, clay is an intuitive and physical medium—grounded in hand-building techniques such as coiling, pinching, and slab work. Her sculptural practice often investigates the human condition through form, particularly the body and the head as sites of social and emotional expression.
This workshop offers a glimpse into that process, creating a shared space where making becomes both meditative and expressive.
I excavate the tensions between power and vulnerability, beauty and rupture, entanglement and liberation. - Poojitha Ravi Menon
